Step 1 – Add 45mL Gin into cocktail shaker

Step 2 – Add 22.5mL Fresh Lemon Juice

Step 3 – Add 22.5mL Sugar Syrup

Step 4 – Add some ice

Step 5 – Give it good shake

Step 6 – Strain into ice filled glass

Step 7 – Add 22.5mL Creme de Mure

Step 8 – Garnish with lemon

Hi, guys. Thanks for joining my daily cocktail vlog. Today, I’m going to show you how to make Gin Bramble.

So you want to start with your cocktail shaker and measure out 45 mils or shot and half of gin. Today, I’m using 23rd Street Distillery’s gin which is a local one from Renmark. So there, 45 mils, and three-quarter shot, 22.5, of fresh lemon juice, and same goes for the sugar, which is a one-to-one syrup, three-quarter shot. And fill your cocktail shaker with ice and give it a good shake.

Now, fill your old-fashioned glass with ice, and strain it on the top. Now, pour Creme de Mure on top, so a three-quarter shot. So Creme de Mure is a blackberry liqueur. This brand is Massenez. If you don’t have Creme de Mure, then you can always substitute for Chambord. So liqueur is heavier so it is going to sink but you will get that layering effect. Then for garnish, either shewered blackberries or a twist of lemon.
